October: Lessons from My Travels

October: Lessons from My Travels

While September was all about reconnecting with some of my favorite places, October was all about new experiences – attending the Study Abroad Summit in New York City and traveling to Malawi with Biosphere Expeditions – and I learned a lot along the way.

September: Homecomings

September: Homecomings

Even though I was sad to see summer go, during the month of September I got to spend time in two places that are very close to my heart – Syracuse, New York, and Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley.

June, July and August: Savoring Summer

June, July and August: Savoring Summer

In April and May I tried to strike a healthy balance between work, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and self-care, but then I went full-speed ahead once summer arrived. Here’s what I’ve been up to.

April and May: All About Balance

April and May: All About Balance

I mostly stayed put in April knowing May would be one of my busiest months of the year at work. Even so, I squeezed in back-to-back weekend trips to Portland, Savannah and Mexico City.

February and March: Everyday Adventures

February and March: Everyday Adventures

Even though I don’t have many vacation days yet at my new job, I’ve tried to make the most of local experiences and travels throughout New England and beyond over the past few months.

January: Weekend Warrior

January: Weekend Warrior

I started a new full-time job in December, so until I accumulate more vacation days, I’m working hard to make the most of my weekends!

November and December: New Country, New Path

November and December: New Country, New Path

The past two months have been pretty exciting – I visited New Zealand for the first time in November, and then I started a new full-time job when I got back to Boston in December!

September and October: A Time of Transition

September and October: A Time of Transition

After a pleasant summer at home in Boston, I’ve had a busy fall so far, dealing with some big changes. But, luckily, I have a lot to look forward to in November – I leave for New Zealand on the 10th!

July and August: Summer Staycation

July and August: Summer Staycation

For the second year in a row, I’ve spent most of July and August at home in Boston. It really is the best time of year to be here, so I didn’t mind.

June: Sailing into Summer

June: Sailing into Summer

The summer is off to a good start! In June I spent a week in Maine followed by a week in New Jersey to visit my family. Now I’ll be home in Boston for most of the summer.
